The final painting can be seen on this website titled Vermont Going For The Green On Jenne Farm, this is an earlier version before it was completed that I also liked.

I started off of Route 106 in Reading, Vermont. I lived in Reading for 18 months after I moved north. Jenne Farm is within Reading Hill in reading Vermont, just outside of both Reading and South Woodstock. There is quaint and authentic Vermont country in this area. The farm is busy during sugaring season and sells maple syrup to the locals and visitors. How fun it was to visit as they were cooking down. I painted soon after in late spring.

It has been said in many publications that this is the most photographed farm in North America. Once they received $300.00 from Budweiser for a photo shoot, how generous. It is gorgeous anytime of year and they have not charged for the artists to use the beautiful scene, but there is now a box at the top of the hill for donations.

The farm was built in 1813, in 2003 was still a 460 acre spread and
surviving by beef cattle and maple syrup. It has also served as a setting in the films Forrest Gump and Funny Farm. The farm photographs have been used for postcards, posters, calendars of all types over 60 years.
