I painted this in 1977. It was a study for a larger painting and one of many studies I did of the apartment I was living in on the third floor of a house in Malden, Massachusetts. During this time I was attending Massachusettes College of Art in Boston. this is a part of a very tubular color series. This image is from a slide that was digital-ized so I could upload some earlier work. The original is gone and my records from this period are all on slides. This predates the digital era.
