I am now dedicating this Pink Patron Mandala to my loving and close friend Andrea Cook - Hewitt. We grew up together and stayed in touch before her death on April 18th, 2023. She loved my mandalas and had a collection of them. The coleus were flowers from the neighborhood in which we grew up. They are heirloom plants that were passed down through my family from my great aunts house in West Hartford, CT. This is where I met Andrea many many years ago. Andrea was a soulful, spiritual and loving person. She was a creative, loved life, her pets, her family and animals. She will truly be missed.
Griswold's series of Nature Mandalas are created with the purpose of promoting the beauty of natural world and enlighten environmental consciousness. This piece was created from various photographs of flowers with the idea of celebrating the values of pink colors found in nature.

Many many thanks to a member of Andrea's family who purchased 3 framed prints of this mandala in remembrance her. Wishing you all peace in your voyage of grief for our common loss.
