This is a part of a series I did of Stoneham Square in 1979. I painted this from my apartment on the second floor on Main street in Stoneham, Massachusetts. Two more from this series are posted in my gallery called Earlier Artworks. I was still studying oil painting at Massachusetts College of Art under George Nick, an American realist and enthralled with the works of Edward Hopper. Undoubtedly this influenced my work at this time.
This image was made from a slide I had in my archives as the original is now gone and I held only a slide in my archives.

I love this :) And I'm familiar with George Nick as I also attended Mass Art around this time. F/L

This still, quiet moment is am moment of reflection on color, life and form. I love this special moment in time you have created as a world of its own Nancy. F/L.

Randy, thanks so much such such a kind and validating remark, so appreciated
