Oil done on location of a Vermont view during the summer. Gardens are well attended here and grown widely by the locals here in Vermont. Many prefer homegrown vegetables and will attend to their gardens right before dusk when the sun is low and the fields are cooler.

Oh, Nancy, the swath of light across the hillside drew me into this painting right away. When I look closer, I see the last light of day (or the first?) outlining the figure and flowers in the garden. The sky is magnificent. The entire painting is magnificent!
