This is one of my Vermont plein air oil paintings I did up in Newbury, Vermont.
I was really captivated with the lateral dirt road combined with the reflections on the pond in this open near the water amongst a wooded terrain. As usual, outdoor summer painting in Vermont is full of green tones and variations. It is a very lush, complex and green landscape during the warmer weather. I added a neighbor walking his dog in the distance which will helps to describe the scale in the scene of this rural area.
Vermont Greens, 24 x 12, oil painting is painted on hand stretched canvas. The painting comes framed in a new mahogany stained plein air frame. Price can be negotiated without the frame.
