This is an illustration of the Log Cabin that still stands on the 3,400 acres of the McLean Game Refuge in Simsbury, CT. Senator McLean left this land for the public to enjoy. He retreated there with friends to hunt and fish, one of his friends was President Calvin Coolidge. The grounds are still well kept with a scenic waterfall and trout pond.
