A Rooted Path to the Clearing is a small 5 x 7 oil painting on canvas I did as I reminisced walking in the woods on path leading up to the scenic view on Rattlesnake mountain in New Hampshire. I just love looking at the roots of the trees protruding from the earth on many of the hikes I took in New Hampshire. All the trees seemed to have character as they grew in adverse weather conditions. The forest floor had a lush world of moss and grasses. I often saw natural rock formations at the end of the hikes near the top.
This is a small 5 x7 oil painting I made that comes framed in a refurbished, vintage, walnut stained wooden frame with golden painted accents on two edges.
Being a small painting I have prepared this only for 5 x 7 or smaller reproductions including small prints, cards, spiral notebook covers, mugs, phone case and pouches.
