This is a small outdoor oil painting I did as I viewed the edge of North Pond, one of the three lakes that makes up Congamond Lake in Southwick, Massachusetts. Southwick borders Connecticut so this lake resides in both states. The foreground area was slightly swampy and bullfrogs, waterlilys and cattails were near. It was nice to live on this lake and watch the daily changes of the scenery. I remember a big blue heron would come sit on this point, before it became populated with docks and boats.

Ha Ha, me too, but things changed here, now there are docks and boats unfortunately.

That clump of grass pulls the eye upward and into this magnificent display of light and reflections Nancy. Always a world I'd rather be in right here with the joys of nature. F/L.
