CAMPTON MOUNTAIN SKI AREA
Campton Mountain Ski Area in Waterville Estates, New Hampshire
This is a family atmosphere ready for another year of winter fun. The lodge is renovated with decor of older and historical times giving it nostalgic charm. There is both a restaurant and bar on location. A ski patrol and a grooming machine also assist this family ski area. The area offers limitless cross country skiing and snowshoeing paths as well.
Ski both day and night on three trails, 1,550 feet long, with a 313-foot vertical on this ridge mountain with full elevation of 2,300 feet. Three runs descend from the top of the chairlift, with one of the trails having a novice rope tow on its lower portion.
Located in the middle of Waterville Estates, which is off exit 28 of Interstate 93, Campton Mountain ski area is a small, semi-private operation.
Over past years the ski area has also been known as Locke Waterville and Mad River Run.
