Cannon Cliff is the southeast side of Cannon Mountain which is widely known as a popular ski area in New Hampshire, the elevation is 4080 feet. Originally this mountain was known as Profile Mountain and Profile Lake sits below this rock face. Before 1917, this mountain was called Frank Mountain. The Cannon Cliff sits near the home of the "Old Man in the Mountain" which recently fell and is no more. This Cliff attracts Rock Climbers and Ice Climbers. Ice Fest draws climber annually for ice climbing. Cannon Cliff is a striking and dramatic scenic as one passes through the White Mountains by way of Franconia Notch in New Hampshire.

Nancy, it would be wonderful to be together in such a place to paint. Maybe one day. One never knows. I love this scene so much from your hand and brush to canvas. F/L.
Nancy Griswold replied:
If you get up this way to paint Randy, you MUST connect beforehand as it would be a treat to plan painting with you in the Whites and/or VT. Thank you again so much for your comment and the F/L too

There is my cabin. You love painting rocks as much as I do. I can tell. So wonderful an image. Just magnificent work Nancy. F/L.
Nancy Griswold replied:
If you make it to northern New England someday, get in touch, maybe we will get out into nature for some plein air. Randy, thanks for the comment.
