I am standing on the edge of Profile Lake below Cannon Cliff which is on my left and looking at Eagle Cliff. Eagles nested there for many years. This site in Franconia Notch was also painted by Cropsy late 1800's and S. Hodgdon 1830 thru1906 and many other turn of the century artists. It is a limitless location for artists who love landscape. The new Old Man of the Mountain Memorial now occupies the far side of this lake.
