This farmhouse sits along Rte 10 in Orford, New Hampshire. I did get permission to photograph this home as I would like to do a Christmas painting using elements from the photographs. I do like how this stands alone as a photographic scenic and reminds me much of the early Currier and Ives prints.
The house was built in the mid 1800's and I am told the original two holer is a room which connects the barn to the house. It's Old New England architecture is a common scene up here along the Connecticut River Valley. Such a pretty house the way the owners decorated the window boxes and pout candles in the windows for Christmastime.
