Description
This is a print rendition I did of the First Baptist Church of Cornish, New Hampshire. A scenic and old area of New Hampshire with this quaint New England town near the Connecticut River.
The Town of Cornish was incorporated in 1765 and the church congregation in 1787. The date of completion of the building is recorded in the Cornish town history as 1803, it was moved to it's present location in 1818.
For more information on the history of this building see this website:

Also known as the Church at Cornish Flat, built in the traditional Federal style.

Nothing says New England like the white steeples in the center of town, nice work Nancy, l/f.

Congratulations on your feature Nancy. This beautiful, pristine white church with the bit of snow about and the uprising steeple all indicate spirituality and holiness. I love this beautiful image surrounded by your vision and God's love. F/L.

Thank you so much Randy, I have always liked spiress and steeples, they get me looking up, and they attrct us up here in the hills as they rise higher than the trees and can be seen from very far away. They kind of announce the old New England towns here.
