Forest Sunrise in Winter, 8 x 10 Alla Prima Oil Painting on Canvas.

Since this is a small oil painting I recommend products be purchased in which the image is not larger than 8" x 10"

A small freshly painted oil painting where I worked with Williamsburg hand made oils. The pigment is very strong but the oils take longer to dry making them prefect for the sketchy method of alla prima method of painting of wet into wet.

I live in New England where winters are cold and long so I enjoy looking out the windows during sunrise and sunset to see the vibrant colors that can happen at that time, I did this primarily from imagination as I thought of my walks in the woods.
