"The David of Italian Sauce" is a humorous image made with my macro photography of harvested tomatoes and herbs of the famous sculpture by Michelangelo called "The David" in Florence Italy.
It stands with other sculptural images in my series titled "Harvest Family Vegetables"
I made this with some of the funky shaped tomatoes from my garden and garlic, oregano, rosemary, and thyme from my herb garden. Now it is time to take these elements to make a tasty Italian sauce.
