Johnny Jump Ups come up in my yard in the spring and can last all summer in some locations. They are all different colors. I love these little purple and yellow ones. Photographed with a maco lens.
They are from the Viola family, but extraordinary in color as regular vilets are either white or purple. I have enjoyed these flowers throughout my entire lifetime and picked bouquets of them when I was little.
