Mount Lafayette is a 5,249 feet at the summit and sits on the north end of Franconia Notch in New Hampshire's White Mountain National Forest, It is one of the mountains in the presidential range.
I shot this on a clear August day from the summit of Cannon Mountain as I walked the Kinsman Ridge Trail nearby. The blue shadows on the mountain are from the clouds above.
