This is the Piermont Congregational Church, Built in 1837 on Church Street in Piermont, NH. The membership was active in 1771 and they were in a different building on River Road until this church was built. The parsonage building next to it was built in 1886. For a while this church was shared with the Methodists during a church transition. I got this information from the historian, ( Helga ) at the Piermont Public Library.
This lovely church sits in the village on a remote winding road above the Connecticut River in Upper Valley. The village has centuries of American history and beautiful architecture to be explored.
