I started this on location at the home of a fellow artist in Newbury, Vermont. It was a windy and rainy day in autumn so my session was ended and I finished the touch ups in my workroom at night.
The owner of this farm, an artist, offers me raspberries sometimes when I visit. He was busy in the barn that day but came to see my painting. He stopped on the way to pick some late season raspberries. Thus the name Raspberry Path.
