Recently this oil painting has been used as an illustration for Chapter 21 in the new book about this extreme skier Dan Egan and the 30 years of experiences and riveting adventures he has had. In 2016 he was inducted into the Hall of Fame Skiing with his brother John as the pioneer of extreme skiing. I am so fortunate to have met Dan in his early days and over the years he has offered me inspiration and support as a creative.

Oh Kay, so sorry to hear about that, Dan is an amazing instructor in his Ski Clinics, I believe he teaches movement skills and maybe the tao too for skiing;safety is paramount of course. I know he is not as reckless as folks might think being an extremist skier..
