This is the view from the porch of a house I lived in during 1992 in Rumney, New Hampshire. The view is looking across the street at brick buildings which were a gift shop and also Stinson Mountain which is one of the White Mountains in New Hampshire. It was a lovely spring day and the flower bushes were in bloom in the yard. Steve's Restaurant was a booming local place just behind this gift shop, it is the beige colored building. Originally this road (Rte 25) was a train line between Boston and Quebec until 1952 when it became a state road. Rumney, NH also has depot stops and much old architecture enhancing the little town and village.
Spring in Rumney is a 24" x 20" oil painting on hand-stretched canvas framed in a sectional frosted gold metal canvas frame. It is on SALE due to CRAZING in some areas and imperfections in the surface quality of the paint due humidity and radical temperature changes as it was improperly stored during moving. It is STILL beautiful on a wall. And the crazing is only discovered upon closer examination of the work.
