During the first snows after the Holiday I looked outside my windows and painted impressions of things I saw and dreamed. I finished at 1 o'clock am on January 20th and since the entire country was waiting for the inauguration proceedings that day I titled this Winter Celebration. Notice the two doves released by the snowmen denoting peace.

This impressionistic landscape oil painting, 20 x 16 was painted with Williamsburg handmade oil paints which truly makes extraordinarily vibrancy to the color.
