This is a photograph I took looking out the window of my first home in Vermont after a snowstorm. Felchville, Vermont is a historical New England Town, notice the old stone house on the left of this photograph.

So much a favorite. I know this lighting and in the snow it is more than special Nancy. F/L.

Wonderful composition, Nancy! I love the warmth and sense of coziness in these scenes of homes all snug and warm in spite of the weather- of course, I love being snowed in! LF

Warm lighting sets an enchanting mood that makes an obviously cold night quietly comforting. Beautifully captured Nancy!

Susan, thanks so much for sharing this comment, at times I love winter and the colors it brings.

Wish I had been there this winter scene. Those shadows and the inviting feel. More than cozy. This is heaven to me. F/L.

So sorry, looking closer I see it is indeed a photo, not a painting. Lovely, never the less.

Now, how you were able to get that snow to look like that is magic. So impressed with the whole lovely painting, again.......peaceful and comforting.
