THIS IMAGE WAS DESIGNED FOR 5 x 7 Cards and I recommend small prints and printed items around this size, such as cards & mugs, small acrylic, metal or framed prints. This was not designed for larger items.
Chapman’s General is the main stop in Fairlee, Vermont. Its history goes back to 1860 when it was built as a tac and tins shop. Around 1875 a Dr. Abbot bought it and turned it into a pharmacy and general store. Mr Chapman started working at the store in 1897 and purchased it for himself and family in 1927. Over the years it has been run by future generations and it still is.
The store is near the train depot and the Fairlee green on Rte. 5 in Fairlee, Vermont. Today it is still a shopping stop for many. It has a lovely gift shop and a showroom with fine arts. There is a children’s toy room, many handcrafted items, delicious foods to eat, jewelry, soaps and wines too. In the summer they have fresh vegetables for sale out front. On occasions they have art shows and other interesting events.
These prints, cards and more of my work is on display and for sale in the store.
