Winter Sunrise Over the Valley, 12 x 24, Unframed Oil Painting on hand stretched canvas. This is painted this with some Williamsburg hand ground oil paints which added to the colorful aspect of this work as the pigments are very strong.
Inspired to create by driving around the Connecticut River Valley along the New Hampshire and Vermont divide. I gaze at the snowy rolling hills and colors the sun and sky brings to the landscape. Although winter is a long and difficult season, the beauty can be amazing; especially during a sunrise and sunset. This is a dreamy landscape expression of some of the winter ambiance I love here in New England. This imaginative and colorful fine art might be wonderful for both a children's and adult's room decor.
This canvas original comes UNFRAMED, I recommend a sectional white metal frame for a 24 x 12 canvas. However, you can order framed PRINTS on this page and select frames and mat colors you like for your own decor.
