3/11/2018 Top Finisher in Door or Doors contest on Fine Art America
This is a painting of the second floor of my apartment when I was studying oil painting at Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. The apartment was in the center of Stoneham. I posted primarily as another earlly artwork I did. I did a series of interiors during this time, this is the only tonal one, the others are in color in this gallery.
The far room was my bedroom overlooking Stoneham Square. The middle room was my office and the lamp is shining light from the desk. The foreground room is my studio room and the first room beyond that was the entrance from the stairwell going downstairs. This was the second floor.
This image was from a slide I had , it was taken during the pre-digital era in 1977
