It seemed appropriate this year to use my oil painting of Mirror Lake for this holiday message considering our earth has been presenting us with so many environmental and humanitarian calamities.
I did this painting outdoor on location as I enjoyed the reflective surface of this lake. I was allured the stately clump of rock that drew many swimmers to it during the heated part of the day. This borders the White Mountain National Forest.
