There's Snow Place Like Home for the Holidays canvas print by Nancy Griswold. Bring your artwork to life with the texture and depth of a stretched canvas print. Your image gets printed onto one of our premium canvases and then stretched on a wooden frame of 1.5" x 1.5" stretcher bars (gallery wrap) or 5/8" x 5/8" stretcher bars (museum wrap). Just perfect for holiday cards ... warm, colorful and creative fine art.
Since this is a small 7" x 5" oil painting I recommend products be purchased in which the image is not larger than 5" x 7" or maybe a just a little bit.
A small freshly painted oil painting where I worked with Williamsburg hand made oils making an impressionistic type of work as I used a lot of complimentary colors.. The pigment is very strong but the oils take longer to dry making them prefect for the sketchy method of alla prima method of painting of wet into wet.
I live in New England where winters are cold and long so I enjoy looking out the windows during sunrise and sunset to see the vibrant colors that can happen at that time, I did this primarily from imagination as I thought of my walks in the woods and the labor...
