Black Mountain from the Valley is a small 7" x 5" alla prima oil painting on canvas I did after being inspired by the orange-ish sunrise by Black Mountain along the Connecticut River Valley on the New Hampshire and Vermont border. Often there is mist rising from the river in the morning and the most colorful skies. This is painted with Williamsburg hand ground paints giving this painting rich color. This original fine art is varnished for preservation.
The original comes framed in a solid oak frame 7 5/8" x 9 1/2".
This is a lovely little artwork for a small area in your home and a convenient size for gift giving too.
