This is a commission I did of an old colonial house. The square part of this house was built in the 1600s and the left part in the 1700s. I worked from supplied photographs and felt honored to do this work as I love old New England architecture. It was frame d and delivered as a Christmas gift, the owners were very happy with the oil painting.

Nancy, I love red houses. You have incorporated the red throughout the landscape and making this painting sing in honor of the red house and the wonderful dog in the foreground. F/L.

Congratulions on your commission Nancy. These red houses grabbed me right off. I love red buildings. So rarely seen. I get the feeling of the Mexico color theme and love it. Beautiful work my friend leading up from the hill and the beautiful dog greeting one to visit. F/L.
