Bradford, Vermont lies in the valley along the Connecticut River which divides New Hampshire and Vermont. It is a border town in the valley we call the Cohase (meaning "place of wide valleys" in Abenaki) I took this photograph on a fall day off a backroad which was higher in the fertile rolling hills of Vermont. I loved seeing the landscape dotted with white colonial and golden era houses and churches of Bradford Vermont. It is a small town with just over 2000 residents but has everything needed and a draw to surrounding villages up here. In the distance are the hills of New Hampshire which are on the edge of the White Mountains.
