Description
I shot this photograph off of Tripoli Road in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire on a July evening around dusk. This deer was foraging and eating branches as it frolicked through this marsh along the side of the road. It did not run away but stayed captivated with me as much as I was with her. I shot many photos, yet this one I felt most appealing.

I love seeing deer like this and count this as one of the most beautiful moments in nature Nancy. F/L.

Gorgeous color, Looks like a young deer just growing up into adulthood, nice shot! fv
Nancy Griswold replied:
Thanks Judy, again. The cale is not revealing here, this was actually a large female deer, not a toddler for sure. Brave to stay around for some time and I shot many photos of her. It was a GREAT interaction and exciting
