Built in 1837, this is the Piermont Congregational Church on Church street in Piermont, NH. The membership was active in 1771 and they were in a different building on River Road until this church was built. The parsonage building next to it was built in 1886. For awhile this church was shared with the Methodists during a church transition.
Photographed February as dusk began, this lovely church sits above the Connecticut River in Upper Valley. The village has centuries of American history and beautiful architecture to be explored.
